You know best how often your floors need our professional attention. Let us set up a regular deep-cleaning schedule – every 6, 12, 18, or 24 months – to keep your hard-surface floors bright and shiny.
Steamatic of Central Kansas starts by examining and measuring the area to put together an accurate estimate before work begins. Once you’ve approved it, we’ll apply premium grout and tile preconditioner and allow time for it to break down oils and dirt. The technician will agitate the grout and tile as needed, then pressure clean and remove the contaminants with our truck-mounted, hot water extraction unit.
After vacuuming up any excess water, we’ll move all furniture back in place and review the area with you. Normal drying time is 10 to 15 minutes. The floor may be slightly damp when we leave, which is normal. If you must walk across the tile right away, we’ll leave you with some shoe covers.
Because of its porous properties, grout absorbs the colors and odors of oils, soil, grime, and other household contaminants. Because of this, sealing your grout is essential to its protection. Leaving grout unsealed will eventually ruin your tile floor.
Once we’ve cleaned your tile floor, we can immediately apply the clear, penetrating grout sealant. It should be applied periodically to extend the life of your tile floors.
